The key component of SFW2007, this trade event is a platform for Asian and International designers & labels to present their Spring/Summer 2008 collections on the catwalk to invited international buyers and press. Participating designers will be assigned showroom space to showcase their collections and conduct business meetings with buyers and press on the premises. On all three days, shows will start from 1000h, totaling more than twenty fashion shows spread over three days at the downtown venue. Historically, many designers from the regional have successfully exported to the USA, Europe, Taiwan, Thailand and other markets after participating in previous TDS, for eg. SPY Henry Lau and HOW from Hong Kong, Tube Gallery from Thailand, (X)S.M.L from Indonesia, Deepika Gehani from India, Khoon Hooi from Malaysia, Senna Fernandes from Macau and Icon from Vietnam. Sharing the stage together are a host of Singapore's cutting edge designers like Anthea Chan, Ben Wu, Celia Loe, Dennis Lau, Ee-Lyn Tang, Francis Cheong, Keith Yap, Nic Wong, Peter Kor, etc . Singapore’s Minister of State, Trade & Industry - Mr Lee Yi Shyan will open TDS this year on Monday 15 October 2007 at 1000h. Admission : By invitation only |
