INSPIRASIAN – DESIGNER PROFILES
The lineup of designers selected to show at InspirAsian – The Gala Evening at each Singapore Fashion Week is always watched with awe and anticipation. "The Asian designers selected are those who have successfully launched themselves in international markets. The collections they showcase at the Gala are, therefore, always greeted with great excitement, " says event chairperson Mrs Lesley Ho.
To celebrate Singapore's entry into Asia Fashion Federation (AFF), the designers hail from the four member countries. Flying the flag for Singapore is Daniel Yam, in the illustrious company of Liang Zi of China, Masako Oka of Japan, and La Sae-Young and Lee Jong-Chul of the label Dou.ze from Korea.
The evening will kick off with the South African Dance Troupe and Designers Show featuring STONED CHERRIE by Nkhensani Nkosi and KLÛK CGDT by Malcolm Klûk & Christiaan Gabriel Du Toit.
