SFW07 PRESS CONFERENCE

Co-Chairman, SFW07 and Chairman, AFF (Asia Fashion Federation) David Wang opened this year’s SFW07 Press Conference at Tang’s VivoCity on Thursday, August 23, 2007.  In a casual and cosy lounge-like setting, he highlighted the event’s 20th anniversary as Asia’s leading fashion event.  Joining over 40 press members from monthly and weekly magazines, newsdailies and the electronic media were esteemed guests MPs Dr Fatimah Lateef & Mr Baey Yam Keng (both participants of Fashion Shares), Political Counselor Mr Clement M Cameron from the South African High Commission and a host of fashion designers. They were all there to witness the morning event and find out more about the planned activities in October. Four show events will be held at VivoCity, namely Singapore Fashion Designers Contest, Asian Young Fashion Designers Contest, Topshop & Topman presents Fresh! The Graduate Showcase and Fashion Shares, the teeshirt exhibition. These will be open to invited guests and the public.
